How funny – I guess they didn’t feel like patting Shaw on the back. The quote is memorable little one, isn’t it?
There always seems to be something rather pathetically pretentious about these people who go on these missions to ‘find myself’. As GBS says, a far better idea is to decide on the person you’d like to be, and create that person.
I agree – if you can set out in your mind’s eye the kind of person you wish you be, it’s infinitely easier to become that person.
