And now in a little homage to the winner of “People I’d Most Like to Be Best Friends With,” may I present Mr. Alan Cumming. Endlessly versatile and extremely talented, this man has turned his life into a work of art. Curious as to why he’s won the title? Check out just a few of the reasons below.
He’s not afraid to wear:

Or this (lil bit NSFW).
This Letter to a younger version of himself.
He was Loki first (so what if it was in the otherwise terrible Son of the Mask?)

I love that nsfw photo!
I know, wish I could have just made it the central one of the post. But(t) people get surprised when that sorta thing pops up outta nowhere.
I am also a fan of Alan Cumming. Loved this blog!
Yes! Glad we’re on the same page. And thanks.
What a great letter… and obviously, what a great post…! I think he would be proud to have you as a friend… Who knows, perhaps he’ll read your post and reach out to say hi some day?!
Ya just never know…
Ant :c)
You’re so right Ant, you just never know. True, true, true. And thank you!
He’s amazing!!!! I saw him In New York on Cabaret! and no one has been able to top he’s performance, saw it 3 times!!!
You’re so lucky! I would have loved to see him in that role. Instead I devoured the cast recording as soon as it was available.
