There Is No Try, There is Only Do

If she can pull off this ridiculous display of talent and sing live, we should forever reconsider our willingness to put up with lipsynching performances.

Things to be on the lookout for:

1. Inverted splits. May as well start off on a high note.

2. Counter balance holds. Harmony through tension, as the two use each other to pull off full body balance poses. ย

3. Belting while crashing into any/everything. Just watch and enjoy.

  1. Pink is amazing. The performance that made me say, “That’s one hell of a performer”, was her performance of her song “Sober” in her Funhouse Tour in Australia… while performing a trapeze act. Talk about talent!

      • As I can barely remember choreography, which obviously limited my theatrical prospects as an actor, and as a person who had really bad asthma as a child… I honestly totally and completely admire her not only for her voice and her songwriting capabilities but also her athleticism. She does make it easy… which is another reason why I am so starstruck by her!

  2. an amazing display of a total lack of fear – while it may have been awkward at times but some standards, it was powerful, love your blog, glad you enjoyed mine too, i teach at a school where the arts and sciences are both honored, used to work in advertising promoting films and live entertainment, the arts are where it’s at!

  3. I was talking about her the other day. She is an outstanding performer, and is someone who is at such a high standard all female performers should be aiming for. Shame they rely on fakery to get by, Pink at the very minimum has talent.
P.S. Thanks for the visit the other week ๐Ÿ™‚
