Bite-sized Wisdom: Hammerstein

Little Friday inspiration to send you on your way this weekend. Enjoy!

“I know the world is filled with troubles and many injustices. But reality is as beautiful as it is ugly. I think it is just as important to sing about beautiful mornings as it is to talk about slums. I just couldn’t write anything without hope in it.”

– Oscar Hammerstein II

    • Thanks for stopping by! And in terms of shows I most enjoyed seeing in the LA theatre scene this past year, I have two that stand out: a fantastic production of Paradise Park by Charles L. Mee and The Method Gun by Austin-based theatre troup the Rude Mechs. Plays that are on my short-list but haven’t gotten the chance to see yet include War House, The Normal Heart and Sons of the Prophet. You?
